Psychology is a fascinating science with the rich perspectives it offers to understand human behavior and mental processes. Our department has academic staff specialized in different subfields of psychology in order to maximize education in this field. Our faculty members, who are well-equipped in basic fields such as clinical psychology, social psychology, industrial and organizational psychology and cognitive psychology, offer a wide range of knowledge and experience to our students. With our applied courses and laboratory studies, our students reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Thanks to this rich academic staff, our students have the opportunity to focus on their field of interest in the early stages of their education process and can easily access the right information and expert guidance in the sub-field they choose. Every year, our undergraduate and graduate students successfully present their scientific studies carried out with our academicians at national and international congresses and publish them in reputable journals. In addition, the fact that our students are accepted to prestigious master’s and doctoral programmes in Turkey and abroad every year is an indicator of their success and the quality of our department.
